Introduction
The technical cooperation, which basically depends on human resources, is a way of sharing, exchange and solidarity between people. For this reason, Tunisia has not stopped striving for the promotion of technical cooperation which relies on partnership with different countries, basically Arab and African ones, seeking to benefit from qualified proficient Tunisians. For this purpose, the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation – ATCT – was established in 1972.
For more than 47 years, The Agency has succeeded in assigning more than 45000 cooperating professionals and experts in various fields and countries. It still continues to deploy its efforts to that end.
Presentation of the l’ATCT
The Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation – ATCT – is a state-run institution established in 1972 to put into practice the State policy with regard to technical cooperation by providing countries, namely Arab and African ones, with the required proficient Tunisians and by the implementation of development programs and projects within the frame of bilateral or trilateral cooperation, with the partnership of funders like the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (ABEDA), the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), etc.
